The aim is to bet on which slot on the roulette wheel the ball is going to drop.
One may play with both set monetary value casino chips and coloured roulette chips. These chips have a set value depending on the minimum bet set at the table but a player may request to increase the value for his chips. The chips are valid only at the table where they were bought and must be exchanged for casino chips before leaving.
A bet may be placed on a certain number, column, dozen or even-money – red or black, even or odd, high or low numbers. The numbers on the table are in the same order as on the Roulette wheel. In addition the player may place one bet within the whole number or dozen according to the maximum bet at the table – the so-called complete bet.
Each player is makes his bets by placing the chips on the table. The chips may be placed by the dealer in case that the bets have been made and repeated by the dealer during the spin. Bets made orally or in cash are not taken into account.
Placing the chips stops on the dealer’s sign „Bets done“.
If the roulette ball lands on the number or between the numbers chosen by the player, the payouts are as follows:
Straight Bets – betting on one particular number (including 0) 35:1
Split Bets – betting that one of two numbers that lie next to each other will win 17:1
Street (Trio) Bets – wagering that any number in a particular row will win 11:1
Corner (Square) Bets – betting that one of four numbers will hit on the next spin 8:1
Line Bet - betting that one of six numbers will hit on the next spin 5:1
Dozen Bets and Column Bets 2:1
Red-black; even-odd 1:1
Betting on numbers 1 – 18 (Low Bet), 19-36 (High Bet) 1:1
If the winning number is 0, the bets on dozens, columns and even-money bets have lost.
If the player wishes to quit playing the dealer will exchange the roulette chips for set value casino chips that may be used for playing at other tables of Olympic Casino or cashed in at the cashier.
Chips may be bought for cash at the table.
The cashier exchanges foreign currency to euro. Minimum and maximum bets differ from table to table, which have the relevant information on the board by the table.
